Bido has been called up from Triple-A Las Vegas to start the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader versus the Rangers.  Bido has earned a look after collecting a 2.59 ERA and 39:13 K:BB across 31.1 innings with Las Vegas this season. With Joe Boyle (back) landing on the 15-day injured list, it's possible Bido will be asked to make additional starts for Oakland beyond Wednesday.

Jack Leiter will be called up from Triple-A Round Rock and is scheduled to start the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Athletics. Leiter will be making his second start of the season for the Rangers. He allowed seven runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out three over 3.2 innings in his MLB debut April 18 against the Tigers. He'll likely get at least one more start while Nathan Eovaldi (groin) is on 15-day injured list.
